WHERE IS THIS IMAGE?

In the previous section we mentioned that in our daily lives we are surrounded by images. One question we need to ask is where do we see images and also what type of images do we expect to find in certain places.

TASK

Below are ten images. Can you say where you might expect to see these images? You might decide that you could see them in more than one place.  Perhaps you might see one particular image not only on the internet but also on a poster in the street.

Once you have decided where you might see a particular image try to give the reasons for your answer. What is it about the image, what are its qualities,  that suggests where you might find it?
